Homelessness in the shadows; A crisis we can’t ignore – by Family promise of Brevard

Justin Chaffiot is the Director of Community Impact at Remi Properties. His focus is on resident retention, community engagement, and strategic partnerships. He has been serving at Remi Properties for 10 years. Tara Pagliarini is a seasoned Nonprofit Executive Director with an entrepreneurial spirit and a demonstrated history of working across sectors to achieve systems change. Tara holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of South Carolina, a Bachelor of Science in Special Education from the College of Charleston, served a tour in 1996 as an Americorps VISTA Victim Advocate, and is a graduate of LEAD Brevard Class of 2020. Tara has been the Executive Director of Family Promise of Brevard for the past 11 years addressing family homelessness on the Space Coast of Florida, impacting the lives of over 13,000 families. Most importantly, Tara is passionate about engaging our community to address social inequities so that every family, regardless of zip code, has a home, a livelihood, and the chance to build a stronger future.
